When the butter has almost melted add about 2/3 to 3/4 can of condensed milk and stir. You might need most of the can depending on how much soup you end up with.
Studies have shown that those who eat breakfast everyday are much more likely to keep extra weight off and also that breakfast is a must for a diabetic to keep their blood sugar at a healthy level. But make that a healthy breakfast! Skip the donuts, sweet rolls, sugary cereals, etc. Have some oatmeal with fresh fruit, an omelet, whole grain toast or English muffin, or a whole-grain cereal with a sugar substitute instead of sugar!! Top the cereal with fat-free milk or soy milk.
You might start off your day with an apple, some fat-free milk, and a whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter. Smoothies are also good choices. Skipping breakfast increases over-eating at lunch time, resulting in packing on extra carbs and fat. And this causes sluggishness and tiredness for the remainder of the day.
Soybeans, soy nuts, soymilk and tofu can actually help to reduce the production of new cholesterol. This is also a great way to boost protein in your diet if you are vegetarian or vegan or just want an alternative to meat. It is versatile and can be prepared many different ways. If you are at all at risk of prostate or breast cancers, you should check with your doctor before adding soy to your diet because these cancers may feed off of some of the nutrients in soy.
Watch out for sugar-free items. These products and also a number of sweeteners consist of as many or more calories as the real sugar items. Don’t be misled by them! If you really need to have some sugar, you are best taking in the actual sugar than this fake sugar.

Step Two: Exercise for 30-60 minutes. I know exercise is the last thing on your mind on a busy holiday, however it is worth your effort. You will negate some of the extra holiday calories and your metabolism will climb even higher.
If you prefer a light breakfast drink, then a banana smoothie is the way to go. Milk is mixed together with mashed banana to create a healthy drink. My preference is to use non-fat milk as I find it mixes in the blender to a thicker mixture – be warned though – do not over mix or it becomes too thick. Add a few drops of vanilla to flavour.
